Help others, help ourselves

There are many opportunities to serve others. Here are some places to get started.

Serve a hot meal at “Sharing The Bounty”
Sharing the Bounty
On Wednesday evenings, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, in our Fellowship Hall, we serve a hot meal to anyone who needs it. The food is prepared by Martha’s Kitchen, so all we have to do is serve our guests! Volunteers are needed to help in many ways.
Coffee on Main Each Monday morning, we provide snacks and coffee to the day workers who gather on Main Street. Meet at the corner of Main St. and Depot St. at 7:45am. Contact Greg Huffman for more information.
Dinner at the Armory During the winter months, we provide dinner to the folks at the Gilroy Armory on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of each month. See typical menus and recipes. The Armory is a cold-weather shelter operated by HomeFirst. For more information or to volunteer to help, call Denise Melroy or Jeannie Clayton or go to “Dinner at the Armory.”
